The Chinese government is expected to issue 4G TD-LTE licenses by year's end, writes Morgan Stanley's Katy Huberty in a bullish note on Apple (AAPL +1.2%). The licenses could pave the way for China Mobile (CHL), which has 700M+ subs and is spending $6.75B this year on its TD-LTE network (still in trial mode), to begin selling the iPhone. One potential roadblock: China Unicom (CHU) and China Telecom (CHA) want the government to take its time in issuing TD-LTE licenses. CHA wants to delay its 4G capex, and both carriers are supporting the FDD-LTE standard (far more popular outside of China). (AAPL/CHL agreement)

And then... in steps the next installment of the iPhone, one version of which is specifically tailored to the Chinese market. That confidentiality agreement they signed was genius and they had a plan all along. A perfect device by AAPL will be introduced in unison with this new unveiling of 4G.

Let everyone cry and moan in the short term. I'll take 700m subscribers in the long term.

They're not capable of using TD-LTE which is what I take the comment to be about.

No matter if its months or a couple of years, but without a doubt AAPL will sooner or later will access China Mobile's HUGEEE market. Is anybody estimating-in what this represents in m├ędium and long term growth ? And earnings ? And dividends ? Open your eres, AAPL critics.

It's not only China prospects for AAPL but in general the future for AAPL looks very promising. Whoever buys here will be happy a year from now. I am long!

It's time for Apple to split 10-1.
