Unilife (UNIS -11.6%) drops like a rock after the company announces an underwritten public offering of 8.25M shares of common stock at $4.35/share. The underwriters of the offering have an option to purchase an additional 1.24M shares of the medical device company within a 30-day period.

    They've got an interesting product in testing with a few major drug suppliers. I'm wondering if it's about to be approved and they need additional capital to ramp up?
