As expected, Google (GOOG) is using an L.A. event to announce the general availability of its Google Music service. The service allows users to store and stream up to 20K songs in the cloud; features deep Google+ and Android Market integration; and also contains an iTunes Match-like ability to stream songs a user owns without having to upload them. But unlike iTunes Match, the service is free.
