More on Nvidia: GAAP gross margin was 54.3% in FQ1, +140 bps Q/Q and +420 bps Y/Y, and beating guidance of 52.9%. GM expected to be flat Q/Q in FQ2. GPU division sales -5.6% Q/Q (PC weakness, inventory cuts) but +8.1% Y/Y (share gains, stronger Kepler mix). Tegra division sales -22.2% Q/Q and -50.5% Y/Y, a big reversal from FQ4's 90% Y/Y growth as Tegra 3 device production slows down (the Nexus 7?). Tegra 4 design wins to be announced in FQ2, followed by 2H ramp. R&D spend +15% Y/Y, well above 3% rev. growth (Tegra/console/GRID investments). SG&A +2%. NVDA +1% AH.
