Bells are ringing for a bottom in some sector of equities as Bill Miller, longtime portfolio manager of the Legg Mason Capital Management Value Trust Fund (LMVTX), is retiring on April 30. Miller outperformed the S&P for years, until he didn't anymore, and the fund lost a lot of its investors' money. Among the boners was a doubling and then tripling down on Fannie Mae as it imploded in 2008.
