Google (GOOG) has a dominant position in mobile search ads, and its AdMob subsidiary may be nearly as dominant in the market for in-app mobile ads. Analytics firm Xylogic estimates AdMob is used by 89% of the top 1,000 ad-supported Android apps, whereas top rival Millennial Media is used by just 34%.
