14% of respondents in a ChangeWave survey of North American consumers said they'll buy a tablet in the next 90 days - up from just 4% a year ago. While many are interested in the Kindle Fire (NASDAQ:AMZN), nearly 3x as many would-be buyers said they would buy an iPad (NASDAQ:AAPL). Moreover, 74% of current iPad owners said they were "very satisfied" with their purchase, compared with just 49% of owners of other tablets. (earlier)
