Microsoft (MSFT) plans to bring its Kinect motion controller, which has become a smash hit in the console world, to the realm of Windows PCs, with the goal of supporting both gaming and user-interface applications. Aside from giving Windows a boost, Kinect's PC debut could bolster sales of Nvidia (NVDA) and AMD's discrete graphics processors, which have been losing ground to integrated solutions.
