Barney Frank of Massachusetts will announce today he will not be running for another term in Congress. In office since 1981 and a former head of the Financial Services Committee, Frank has had one of the most powerful voices - if not the most powerful voice - in nearly every key U.S. financial policy for at least a decade.

What do you mean? He's already been caught employing a prostitute for himself on government dime and he remained in office!!

This is excellent news for the country - he represents everything wrong with DC and one less entrenched traitor is an excellent development.

    Windsun,

Although Golliath hasn't posted many comments but I have read a few, you can conclude from this comment that he is a just an Obamabot and not to be taken seriously. He makes things up, can't do basic math, and says whatever his masters tell him to say depending upon the programming of that current day.

By the way, I love my water oily and filmy and filled with particulates, I want dirty air that you can see and taste, poison in the environment, the sick to die, the children to starve, women to die on the operating floor because I am a heartless, SOB Republican.

    NOBAMA 2012!!!

    B. Frank would stand up to the top 1%, and he supported working class families.

You are insane and your brain has been finally turned to progressive mush!
This freak should be in jail for to many contemptible offences to list here!
Hey Terry, just what is up with your commentary?
Your about 99.999% out of touch with what any sensible American's view on this dirtbag is!
Are you one of the "Collapse The System" O.W.S. Obama loving communists / anarchists?
If you are could you please leave the country now?
This country has an epic battle ahead.
Colin Powell is now the number one talking head for the progressive machine. His words this past weekend were so out of touch with reality, it is disgraceful!
Hey Colin, the founders wanted things to take time, to consider the outcome!
When you have one person just ramming things past an impotent congress, you have a problem sir!
It usually goes by some familiar moniker's you might just recognize!
    Communist
    Totalitarian
    Anarchist
    Fascist, take you pick!
Did you not swear on a bible to fight against any enemy foreign and domestic sir? And you spread missinformation and out and out fabrications!
How do you sleep at night?
    Jerry

He is the 1% - the rules didn't apply to him. Break the law and no consequences.... claim victim because he's a homosexual and keep right on serving in Congress.

    Change the rules for me!

    Make millions while in Congress!

Write rules for the benefit of those that give me money!

Yes, He is the 1%. And he's one of them that has gotten his money through corruption. He's scum.

He is one of a few people in Congress that I will stop what I'm doing and listen to. The vast majority blather on and on. I can always rely on him to be articulate and forthright. We could use 10 more like him. He will be sorely missed.

    10 more like him?

Like using his power as an elected official to wipe out ("fix") 33 parking tickets for the male prostitute working as his personal assistant?

Like writing a "misleading memo" to the court to secure his male prostitute's probation?

Like allowing his male prostitute/personal assistant to run a prostitution ring out of his DC apartment?

Yeah, 10 more like him is exactly what we don't need.
