A sobering read: TEPCO (TKECF.PK) now says the Fukushima disaster was closer to an uncontrollable catastrophic meltdown than its previous versions of events. Inan overdue stipulation, the firm says nuclear rods in reactor #1 at the plant likely melted down completely, spilling over and eating through 75% of a concrete base that served as the last containment between the radioactive core and the environment.

    As the truth slowly leaks out we see once again how the public was lied to during the crisis. At least they didn't blame it on a "fat finger".

    We are on the precipe of a financial meltdown. Wallstreet and Washington have no solutions, only diversions to keep us from their ugly truth. They really really needed today's fake rally.

    we won't know for several years the effect on regional and world mortality, morbidity, mutation and bioaccumulative effects (bug gets irradiated, bird eats a thousand bugs, we eat bird get mega dose; dust gets irradiated, falls on ground, absorbed into plants, eaten by meat animals, we eat get mega dose.


    what about early reports of safety backups not all online, not all ready to go, short fuel and batteries not charged or not there? gennies on maintenance tickets? some removed for cost saving?


    no matter the link between party and zaibatsu, cost cutting on the safety rules is a crime against humanity.
