After soaring yesterday on a report the company is holding buyout talks, WebMD (WBMD) sold off for a while today before closing with a solid 2.8% gain. Adding to the day's volatility was a 13D filed by major shareholder Carl Icahn; the filing urges WebMD to repurchase up to $1B in shares through a Dutch tender offer, with a maximum price of $36/share.
