Major indices are still broadly higher, but under pressure going into the final hour. Dow +2.08% to 9512. S&P +2.65% to 992. Nasdaq +1.83% to 1758.

    That last part is especially true. If Ireland close a loophole, some other nation will open up another one.


    Whiny little global corporate children need mature global government parents to monitor them and make sure they play quietly and don't ruin the dinner party for all of us.

    No Xmas cards from S&P 500 companies for Irish if they go through with it. Just like the theory overseas cheap labor will evaporate as countries prosper and wages increase. They'll just find another country with $300 a month labor.
