Japanese stocks are lower in early trading, as heavy losses on Wall Street and a weak earnings report from Texas Instruments overnight drag down the market. The Nikkei Average fell 1.5% to 8,538, with techs leading declines: Sony (SNE -2.10%), Kyocera (KYO -2.4%) and Sharp (SHCAY.PK -2.4%)
