ouch..... for the *only* tablet explicitly targeting the corporate market, it's being outsold by iPad nearly 80x

they really should get out of that keyboard mentality, since on-screen is just as fast to type. me on iphone usually out-type my friends using BB or swype

One can only guess, since RIM has never released sales numbers.

RIMM folks were so sure that their tablet would provide competition for the iPad. How wrong they were!
    150K shipped during the quarter?
Good thing I held my AAPL stock.

    Subscribers rose by 5M Q/Q and 20M Y/Y. Interestingly it's actually added
quite a few subscribers amid onslaught of iphones and androids, which makes
me think there's still a stable core demand for its products. It's punished
for not capturing consumer market shares. But for business market it's
still doing okay. If I spend $14 to buy a company that gives me $4 in
profit in a year, it's not so shabby from private equity investor's point of

    Let's recount the past year.

    1. The Playbook will blow away the iPad..... nope.
    2. Wait until the new line of BB7 phones are released..... I don't think so.
    3. The BBX (BB10) phone in early 2012 will save RIM.... hope late 2012 is still OK with you RIM loyalists.

No matter. The BB10 phones couldn't turn RIM around even if it was launched today.
I've already heard some optimism from a well know RIM loyalist about the PB2.
Sorry but this is really getting to be pitiful.
