Linear Technology (LLTC +1.5%) moves up after Oppenheimer upgrades to Outperform, as a “broad inventory re-stock” in the first half of next year “will breathe fresh life” into shares. LLTC was one of the first firms to identify and react to the chip slowdown, but "order patterns have since stabilized, as the channel continues working inventories ever leaner - a classic over-correction."
