In a deal similar to the ones it struck (I, II) with Comcast (CMCSA) and Time Warner Cable (TWC), Verizon (VZ) is buying $315M worth of wireless spectrum licenses from cable provider Cox, and is entering into a partnership in which each company will resell the other's services. Cox announced last month it would discontinue its mobile phone service, partly due to tough competition from the likes of Verizon.

    From this iPad a quick COPY & PASTE placed this 2nd line, but will not permit a picture to be placed. Why?
    To return to the subject of VZ, I plan to stay long on VZ, Not so for CMCSA and TWC.
