A California court has ruled Emulex's (ELX) products are infringing on two of Broadcom's (BRCM) patents. The products include Ethernet chips used in storage adapter cards based on next-gen FCoE technology, as well as storage switches that rely on traditional fibre channel technology. Broadcom is seeking a permanent injunction on the sale of the infringing products.
