BlackBerry's (BBRY +1.3%) next touch-only flagship BB10 phone will be called the A10, launch in November, and be sold by Sprint, CNET reports, while providing scant details about its specs. Following the launch, the touch-only Z10 and QWERTY-sporting Q10 will reportedly be sold as mid-range devices (is a Q10 successor also on tap?). AllThingsD reported in March Sprint will sell a Z10 successor in 2H.

We all knew this was coming and now its here. The Bentley can be found on Youtube. It is just the start as QNX is the best operating system out there for security, viruses etc. Wait until they grow out into other business systems. This is just the start, new up will be TV's, appliances etc.

By the holiday season the A10 should probably cost about 5 Blackberry shares. ;)

WOW no doubt Mr. Prem Watsa of Fairfax Financial says BB's fair value is around $40. BB is now going to offer a great Mobile OS, A great Enterprise Mobile Management solution via BES 10, great line up of quality hardware, BBM revenue monetization via BBM Money, Channels Ads etc., A great OS solution for futuristic cars and countless more applications from the BB10 (QXN). I am so excited and can't wait for the day when BB reports EPS of $5 and a lot more :) GO BBRY!!

Samsung acquiring BB was just floated on CNBC. I guess it would make sense if Samsung was willing to pay a hefty heft premium because I highly doubt the institutional longs would go for anything less than $40 a share.

This is the phone Heins was so excited about. It will be killer! With the core crazy QNX kernel running on a quadcore 1.9GHz Krait, this baby will hit 10Gs! I'm hearing 2GB RAM, but 4 GB is not out of the question. I also like their move to a 1920x1080 format.

some discussion out there that it is only dual core because of battery concerns but if they are going to compete they should go with quad core if that is what the competition is using. Just put in a bigger battery like everyone else. People that own these phones are used to plugging them in through out the day. They want the ig screen for gaming and video which both burn through battery power.

This is encouraging and we need encouragement. I am a Z10 user and although it is a solid device and has some great features I just don't see it exciting the market more than the Lumia's, Xperias, Ones etc. it may be as good as them but it is not clearly (or excitedly) so.
I think many on here will be disappointed with this quarters results as they are not going to be a catalyst.Hopefully they will be good enough, though in the long run it will not matter too much other than the need for BBRY to be looking strong in the buying publics eye.
On comScore I've seen some figures for quater to Apr. 2013 against Jan13's showing BBRY is still 3rd as smartphone platform in US, though its share dropped from 5.9 to 5.1%. Android and MS's share also dropped though by only a couple of percentage points. Still I they dropped, not bad as they are firmly established and BB10 is not. Apple gained at all the others expense, again good as I don't see this as a long term prospect, Unfortunately BBRY does not figure in top 5 OEM sales, another silver lining here is neither does Nokia, who I feel are the biggest threat to BBRY's market share right now

Nokia and Blackberry's markets shares are increasing at the expense of iPhone and Android. Probably mostly iPhone right now because of a lack of new product. When they come out with their next phone that will shake things up yet again. The consumer is the big winner in this competitive race.

All consistent with the CEO's statement a while ago as to the number of products to be released thus year. if the Q10 is indeed mid-range..then the wow factor is certainly there. The Shorts won't be able to stop this now...long on BlackBerry!

If the z10 ends up being a mid range phone the Art10 well really be amazing. I've had the z sense launch and i fall more in love with it every day. Very pleasing piece of technology to use.

I think A10 is too big for me but will be jealous of all that horse power, might just buy new clothes with some of my shares in November as I'll need bigger pockets by then anyways.

sprint won;t be the only one to carry it. They are just making a point of saying they will because they missed the Z10 because they were under contract to sell so many iPhones.

Samsung acquiring BB not at any price you can bet on that. Its been already said many a time unless the takeover is by a North American based company it will be blocked! Not only that, what could we expect more garbage Sammy phones for the masses, with security holes, which allow hackers to have a field day! Ever notice how cheap their phones look!

I am from India and I am terribly disappointing by seeing such a HUGE price for the Q10 Rs 44,500/- which is $809
BB please announce a monthly installment plan like you did for Z10. This would be one of the most costliest phones available in India. Its a huge market but highly competitive as well. Samsung has established a great presence here and Apple is catching up. So such a price does not help. Had it been Rs 38,500-Rs 40,000 would have been a lot more comforting.
