Slowly but steadily, 3D printers are going mainstream, as falling prices and improving feature sets lead designers to use them to make everything from robots to consumer goods prototypes to video game models. 3D printer vendors SSYS and DDD have both been growing at a brisk pace. Design software maker ADSK should also get a lift from the market's long-term growth.
