China might slap a tariff on European luxury cars, according to French newspaper Les Echos. The development follows complaints that European automakers receive subsidies that allows them to sell cars at a loss in China. Mercedes-Benz (DDAIF.PK) and BMW (BAMXY.PK) have the most to lose if the government follows through.
