Memory technology developer Rambus (RMBS) gains 7.8% AH after announcing a 5-year patent license agreement with Broadcom (BRCM), and stating the two companies "have settled all outstanding claims." Given Broadcom's $7B+ in annual sales, and the large number of chips it sells that embed memory or interface with memory chips, the deal could be a lucrative one for Rambus.
