Ione2boy: Good comment. Did our President stop in Hawaii or did he go home to Indonesia?

(To be fair, he has been up-front as being a "Citizen of the World.!")

how funny to read the comments on Obama....the republicans in the house are a bunch of hypocrites...they talk a big game but folded like a cheap suit...they even gave up on the pipeline giving Obama the green light to kill the project for another have to laugh at the conservatives who actually thought their representatives were going to do the right thing....the dems have to be laughing all the way to the 2012 elections!

Let's see: 1) Payroll TAXES funds go exclusively to Social Security account (there is NO 'lock box"!!) 2)Demokrat$ succeeded in defunding ( TEMPORARY) Social Security for 1 yr and extended the defunding for 2 more months. 3)Social Security is -since March 2011 paying more money than the one tallied to be coming in.

Who is claiming "victory" again?? Can somebody explain the "common sense basics" of this bright and 'gutsy' policy?? What purpose does this policy serves?? Does anybody knows about the PERMANENT TAX INCREASES contained in the 1300 pgs of the new law just passed that took only 160 seconds to pass in both (empty ) chambers of Kongre$$??

Party politics are a cruel joke on everyone other than the apparatchiks. If you're not a party member receiving spoils from your party you are a chump. If you are a party member receiving spoils, you are a gangster. If you are a mere bystander, you deserve the screwing you are getting.
