Sears Hometown and Outlet Stores (SHOS -4.8%) slides after reporting Q1 results. From the report: Net sales, operating income, net income, and adjusted EBITDA fall 3.2%, 28%, 27%, and 26% respectively. Comps decline 5% as lawn and garden suffers from unseasonably cold weather (lawn and garden comps fell 45% Y/Y during the first two months of the quarter). Gross margin is largely unchanged at 25.7% and SG&A jumps 21.2% on higher operating costs after the spin-off from Sears Holdings. (PR)
