Northwest Natural Gas (NWN) says that for the first time since 2002, due to higher operational costs, it's filed for a general rate increase with the Public Utility Commission of Oregon. If approved, the request will result in an overall revenue increase of about 6%, or $43.7M.

    Interesting that with Nat Gas at record lows they'd need a rate increase!
