China will devalue the yuan in 2012, writes Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, submitting his own list of predictions for the year. In so doing, the country will foist even more of its massive production overcapacity onto an already deflationary world, forcing the West "to turn its back on globalization ... them dang chinese! tricking us to close all our factories and foisting the canard that service jobs and high unemployment will make for a prosperous economy!

dang them for tricking our banksters into mbs and private land offices and whatever else we can think of so that it isn't a case of rampant corruption where the police and regulators dare not go.

if globalism fails, it isn't because our elites took too much profit while everyone else paid the bill, oh no. it's the fault of the chinese.
