There's just enough blood in the water at Lululemon (LULU +0.5%) to bring in some legal sharks who say they will investigate if the company's officers complied with federal securities laws when making statements to investors between March 21 and June 10 of this year on quality control and the issue with a recall of Luon pants. The attacking firm, Holzer Holzer & Fistel, has scored some settlements on behalf of shareholders in the past but is also trigger happy and has misfired as well.

The water is red entirely. The Luon pants issue was a red herring. Ms. Day has left because over the next several quarters they will unravel their previously fallacious numbers and she cooked the books one more time on the way out. The new CEO will take the heat for a deteriorating business model and diminishing earnings and he/she will blame competition and the luxury retail environment. Oh, and if the fellow who got all upset when I said Canadian companies have a history of faulty reporting and lower regulatory radar , would stand up and apologize I would gladly accept. This company is a house of cards, worn-out cards. The numbers NEVER were real. Look at the capital depletion in the last quarter.

Give me a break, you have no idea just speculating based on what? Just because Canadian companies have a history of faulty reporting? Your logic is faulty.

Vultures. This sort of thing should be banned, in addition to all the lawsuits filed within 24 hours of any M&A.
