Target (TGT) reports same-store sales were up 1.6% in December, lower than the consensus mark of analysts of 3.1%. The firm lowers its Q4 EPS outlook to $1.35-$1.43, down from previous guidance of $1.43-$1.53. Shares -4.4% premarket.

    Shopping at TGT is quite interesting. They have an infinite number of check-out counters, but cob-webs have all but hidden the registers-i.e. no one to perform the check-out task.
    Well, there is one person to be found-if you look carefully. Normally, if you can locate the SBUX, the only open register will be 17 paces away, directly behind the popcorn concession. Another tip is to locate the check-out line. All converge at a single point in the store.
