Today's 14% jump caps a five-day 60% advance in Zion Oil & Gas (ZN) on no apparent news, but this isn't the first time ZN shares have seen such wild swings. Evan Buck urges extreme caution in the company that's "definitely not a kosher investment," highlighting Delek US Holdings (DK) and Noble Energy (NBL) as far wiser plays on Israel's natural gas finds.

This is slightly misleading; DK is strictly a US refiner/retailer, a subsidiary of Delek Group. DK itself is not a player in Israeli gas E&P, just the parent and other subsidiaries.

Followed the company for a while. This move didn't surprise me as Mr Brown was on a messianic Jewish TV show last Monday talking about oil in Israel and its correlation with the end times. Resistance at 3.00 was expected as well since the stock was almost at its 52 week high.

No real news has come out concerning any big discovery, but big volume and a rise from 1.55 a week ago Monday to 2.99 today.
