In addition, while the execs claim to be optimistic about ultrabook sales, Sherlund thinks they're worried customers will delay PC purchases until later in the year, when Windows 8 ultrabooks featuring touchscreens arrive.

    Win 8 ultrabooks with a touchscreen? You think people will be getting excited over flimsy laptops with a touchscreen using 5 year-old technology known as windows 8?

     

    The sooner Balmer leaves, the quicker we can move on from crap like this. MS is losing its dignity.
