An aide to North Dakota's John Hoeven tells Reuters Senate Republicans are drafting a bill to circumvent the President's authority and approve TransCanada's (TRP) Keystone XL pipeline under Congress' authority to regulate commerce with foreign nations.

    Obama's probably made a back room deal with the Republicans to back them on this by not challenging if they pull it off.

     

    He and some other Dem Congress people want the pipeline but they are afraid to go up against the green power in the Dem party during an election year.

    So they can get together to change the laws to go around the President to build an oil pipline but they can't get together to do a debit reduction deal? Always about helping their buddies in the oil industry and screwing John Q Public.
