Russia's Novatek signs a deal to sell a 20% stake in its Yamal liquified natural gas project to state-owned China National Petroleum (PTR), which will receive long-term supplies from the venture that would transport LNG by tanker along Russia's arctic coast. The project is currently jointly owned by Novatek, with an 80% stake, and France's Total (TOT), with 20%.
