Energy Transfer Equity (ETE) closes on its deal with AmeriGas Partners (APU) to contribute its propane operations in exchange for $2.85B, consisting of $1.46B in cash and $1.32B of APU common units. The company will now own 34% of the common units of AmeriGas and has committed to retain those units for at least one year. ETE -1%, APU -0.6% AH.
