Shares of EADS (OTCPK:EADSF) and Boeing (NYSE:BA) may be "trouncing" their home countries' respective benchmark equity indices thanks to strong orders, but buyers "are frustrated they can't get earlier delivery slots," Airbus' John Leahy says. "Bulging backlogs" are reportedly tempering enthusiasm as some customers will have to wait until 2020 for the re-engineered A320 and the A350, while BA's 787 and 737 also require "patience," according to Bloomberg. "If [BA] gives us slots next decade we will not be interested," says Qatar Airways Akbar Al Baker.
