If this is true, it's just another case of "Smart Power" in action from the Obama Progressive cabal.

Reuters reported that "speaking on background from the Jobs Summit at the White House, a spokesperson close to the Obama administration said the President is not fast-tracking this project because 'it isn't shovel ready' and 'I already have enough on my plate.' Attempting to speak to the President at the turn, reporters noted that he had a brat on his paper plate and a lite beer--and sported a card with only 47 strokes on the front side (not counting the whiffed drive off number 4)."

Idiot, our President is an idiot. Just an out and out poor decision. This is the man that said "jobs will be my top priority:" during the State of the Union.

More money for solar that can't turn a profit, more money for cellulosic ethanol that no one can develop, more money for high speed trains no one wants but no to a pipeline that the majority of people approve f.

This is just more PROOF that the goal of the current Occupation Regime and our Dear Leader is NOT energy independence. And yet Big Media continues to support the current regime at all costs.

Big O just alienated union workers and heavy equipment manufacturers across America. And further jeopardizes our energy security and balance of payments. Hey Barrack, how are those solar projects and electric cars working out?

Pure politics. There is already a pipeline network for oil, gas, and petroleum products, crisscrossing this country. The XL pipeline is just more capacity for strategic locations. Obama will get re-elected on stuff like this.
