A January Pew survey of U.S. adults found 19% claiming to own a tablet, and an equal percentage claiming to own an e-reader; both figures are up from just 10% in December. While the survey isn't bulletproof (it found e-reader ownership to decline between May and August), it could nonetheless bode well for Q4 sales of Amazon's (AMZN) refreshed Kindle lineup, and perhaps also the iPad (AAPL).
