Market recap: Stocks pulled back from the day's highs but stayed positive, as some investors bought new positions to re-establish themselves after the Dow finished its strongest H1 since 1999. Trading was quiet to open the holiday week, but there's plenty of economic data ahead, including Friday's jobs report. Improved U.S. manufacturing and rising Japan corporate sentiment also lifted commodities; Treasurys ended mixed.
