General Motors (GM) June U.S. sales: +6.0% to 264,843, to more than triple the estimate of analysts forecasting a 1.3% gain. Segment sales results include crossovers up 9%, trucks/vans/SUVs 8% higher, and car sales gaining 4%. Cadillac sales rose 38% with the new ATS and XTS contributing - while the Chevrolet Cruze set an all-time monthly sales record. Shares of GM +2.6% off the surprising strength in June sales.

    not sure if the invest in car comment was intended for me or not...
    paid cash for both vehicles- Subaru was used with under 20K miles

    Michael, how can the difference in the Market Cap be justified? Out of the top five Auto manufactures GM has the smallest market cap. Wall Street is just has crooked as the Japanese Government and their currency.
