AT&T's (T) Randall Stephenson reveals his anger at the FCC for nixing his bid for T-Mobile, using his conference call after Q4 earnings to rip the agency for standing in the way of industry growth by failing to auction off new licenses for spectrum. “The FCC is intent on picking winners and losers rather than letting these markets work. Growth cannot continue without more spectrum being cleared and brought to market.”

    Maybe the FCC is a roadblock, but AT&T's definition of markets "working" is that they get to be a monopoly.
