Suddenly the focus has switched from Boeing's (BA) 787 to the 777 following Saturday's fatal crash in San Francisco. In an incident that few would probably have paid attention to on Friday, a Japan Airlines 777 flying to the Californian city from Tokyo turned back following the discovery of a leak in the hydraulic system that controls the aircraft's flaps. The jet landed safely at Haneda Airport in Japan's capital with no injuries to the 250 passengers on board.

  • WHY? :-)

Well, at least you didn't say "Another Boeing Catastrophe" in your headline, like some fluff pieces on the SF 777 crash, trying to grab attention but with a story line that's far off the mark.

These Seeking Alpha "blogs" are supposed to provide info to investors, right? It's pretty apparent that investors are not buying into the "Boeing Catastrophe" story line. There has been little and/or just false context in these fluff pieces. For example, for some context, you have to know the frequency of aircraft incidences. I know from personal experience that flight delays are common, far too common, really. And that they are usually due to maintenance issues. It’s not as if Airbus planes have no maintenance issues!

YES the 777 landing off its mark its now in prices
At least Boeing can now use the crash data from flight 214 for the 777-X a real cost shaving for Boeing
GB a 777 landed short and hard, the flight data recorder data shown the flight crew did not follow instruction of the ATC of the landing requirement of the 777
These Seeking Alpha "blogs" are supposed to provide info to investors, right? no
Seeking Alpha give out information that making the news ! and current price of the stock!
It's pretty apparent that investors are not buying into the "Boeing Catastrophe" story line.
Well having a 777 in pieces is not Catastrophe this must have been a plastic drill for SF airport fire department for 787, with all the fire trucks, fire flightier, fire, smoke ect
There has been little and/or just false context in these fluff pieces.
WOW with the TV sound off its look like the a 777 crash landing or a 777 the landed short and hit hard break into pieces, this did not look like a movie set with fire and smoke, fire trucker and fire flightier ect
The head of the NSTB and other holding a news conference about 777 crashes
For example, for some context, you have to know the frequency of aircraft incidences.
What are you smoking! Do you have crystal ball! If I could do that I would be rich. With the stock market or horse races ect
I know from personal experience that flight delays are common, far too common, really.
Again what are you smoking, flight delay! That why it is call an airport
And that they are usually due to maintenance issues. It’s not as if Airbus planes have no maintenance issues! That why the FAA has C & D check for aircrafts and flight crew are tested
Flight 214 was assembly in 2006 and been flying for the last 7 years, and when the tower tell flight 214 to land on runway 28L, and give the information to flight 214 for landing , maintain speed and altitude ect
GB Now go back to the Seattle Times and you rubber room
