Tobacco companies could benefit from a computer systems glitch that will limit the penalties insurance companies can charge to smokers. The impact on the tobacco industry (MO, LO, RAI, BTI) of the sky-high cost of insurance for smokers under the new health care laws has been hotly debated with some analysts predicting smoking rates will go fall further and others seeing oversight tough to manage.
