Panera Bread (PNRA) says it will pull its national pay-what-you-can program for Turkey Chili orders and will re-evaluate the idea for a new launch next winter. The company has been at the forefront of social responsibility on food issues since its inception - including a store in Clayton, Missouri which is 100% under the pay-what-you-can format - and notes the optional payment on turkey chili brought in on average 75% of retail value.
