American Airlines (AAMRQ.PK) set an all-time monthly record in June for passenger unit revenue per available seat mile as the carrier continues to squeeze out efficiency gains while in bankruptcy. The load factor for American fell 30 bps to 87.4% during the month.

    Hi Mad, Well stated. Everyone is slapping their backs after screwing all the people the old AMR owed money. As for the future, you cant look back on bad investments or be mad at the companies. From an investment perspective, the 87.4% gets my attention and a good balance sheet may be an add to my portfolio.
