Royal Dutch Shell's (RDS.A, RDS.B) Nigerian unit is forced to shut a trunk line of the Trans Niger Pipeline following a leak, barely a week after reopening it. The 24-inch trunk line is part of a broader pipeline route that carries 150K bbl/day of oil through the Niger Delta to the Bonny terminal. The TNP was shut last month following an explosion and fire blamed on oil thieves.
