Raytheon's (RTN) $279M radar jamming device contract "clears the way for as much as $7.4B in future work," Bloomberg says, citing the Navy. Because the technology is set to be carried on every Boeing EA-18G Growler aircraft, RTN may have captured a "winner-take-all opportunity."

Big win as the product it is replacing is over 4 decades old and is known for its unreliability and lack of aerodynamics on the platforms it is deployed on.

The next generation jamming system was supposed to be on the F-35 for the Navy, but that was taken off and the Navy decided to go with the EA-18G platform at least until 2020.
