Actavis (ACT) says it's received FDA approval on its Abbreviated New Drug Application for Lamotrigine Orally Disintegrating Tablets, a generic equivalent to GlaxoSmithKline's Lamictal ODT, an antiepileptic drug indicated for the treatment of epilepsy and bipolar disorder. The company intends to launch the product immediately. Shares +0.3% AH.
