Lumia Q2 volumes +32% on quarter to 7.4M units vs consensus of 8.1M. Total handset volumes -4% to 53.7M vs 56.2M. Cash reserves roughly in line at €4.1B. Shares -3.7%. (PR)

    Still this is much better than Samsung and Blackberry.
    Compare these numbers and Nokia performance AFTER Apple has released their Q report.


    You have to take the global contraction of smartphone sale before you put judgement on Nokia performance.

    As was evident after Q1, Nokia has so drastically re-structured that they can make an operating profit on current turnover.

    Not that bad of a quarter. NOK wasn't far off at all at hitting the estimates. Their net losses were CONSIDERABLY lower. The revenues miss was the stinker. IMO the stock sell-off was a bit over done.


    Anyways, perhaps pieces like this one are doing more harm:
