Cisco... another acquisition because its hoard of execs still can't invent anything novel on its own. This company still remains one of the fattest wasteful tech companies on the planet. I think they still feel like they have no real networking competitor. They better start mulling buying up a lot of larger companies because their strategy of do nothing and buy out small companies that actually innovate before they can spread their wings only works when they are a virtual monopoly.

And by the way Cisco, when are you going to sell your most expensive farmland in the US in the South bay or actually stop housing your entire company in the most expensive area in the US? Waste waste waste! Clearly they haven't even figured out the purpose of networking is that you don't have to have everyone work arms length from each other anymore.

When Cisco was going down the Chairman touted that they had tons of places they could cut to save money. he failed to mention that although they have tons of fat they aren't ever going on a diet. After all, its not their money, its their poor shareholder's money (which is gradually becoming theirs).
