Blackstone about to buy more Australian property

Blackstone (BX) is set to buy 7 Australian office buildings from the real estate arm of GE for about $271M, reports the WSJ, with an agreement to be announced as soon as today.

It will mark GE's 2nd recent big sale of Australian property and Blackstone's 2nd recent big purchase.

GE's Aussie insurance unit is also on the block and a number of big players are sniffing around.
