    I do agree with you - a return to more aggressive seasonal factors with this result is a good sign.

     

    Almost the identical reporting period and seasonal factor last year as well so almost a perfect comp.

     

    NSA was 312k last year & 279.6k this year that's a decent improvement.

    Who is left to layoff? Companies aren't hiring (except part time and temps), even MSM says its a jobless recovery. So ADP says 200k
    jobs were created in July and initial claims come in approx 1.2 million/mth, The economy is really rockin.

    What is a "newly hired employee"?
    The law defines a "newly hired employee" as (i) an employee who has not previously been employed by the employer; or (ii) was previously employed by the employer but has been separated from such prior employment for at least 60 consecutive days.

     

    that 4.2 million new hire number, could include people with two or three part time jobs and counted as new hires for each job they work at.
