The New York Times slumps following earnings

The New York Times (NYT -3.6%) falls off after revenue for Q2 came in below estimates, $485.4M vs. $489.3M.

Q2 EPS beat analyst projections by a penny, $0.14 vs. $0.13.

Digital subscriptions were up 35% to 699K to help take some of the sting off of declining advertising.
